- ATF M-V (TYPE M5) IS NOT THE SAME FLUID AS MERCON-V OR MERCON-LV ATF.
- ATF M-V (TYPE M5) HAS A GREATER VISCOSITY THAN MERCON-V AND MERCON-LV ATF IN LOW TEMPERATURES.

What is the exact transmission fluid for Mazda6 2002 with this ref shown on the oil indicator ATF MV on top and on blade 65°c (149°F) 20°c (68°F) FNE1. Screen indicatir comes to HOLD. Facing this problem since change of fluid made recently not compatible
ATF MV Part Number 0000-77-112E-01, and the first year for Mazda6 was 2003.

a – used to be – happy customer (currently not);
I have a MAZDA 6i 2.5 – 2009 living in Dubai – UAE;
regarding the ATF oil : the local dealer ( Galadari Automobiles Company LLC ) IS using the ATF MERCON V as a replacement for the ATF M5
which as I understand are different and have different specifications
PLEASE verify if MERCON V meets the requirements for MAZDA Automatic Transmission or not ..
OR please advice for a replacement or additive we can use since I couldn’t fine the GENUINE ATF M-V in all the United Arab Emirates
official and non-official lube-stores and NO shipping from outside uae for online shopping

Recommended fluid is ATF M-V, but many use MERCON V with no issues.
any recommended additive to achieve the perfect or the best result ??
