Brake fluid seepage from the brake master cylinder reserve tank cap.
The upper surface of the reserve tank may appear dusty or dirty where the brake fluid seepage has occurred.
This concern may be caused by a decrease in sealing performance of cap due to aging deterioration. A new cap with improved sealing performance has been established as a service part.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
- Wipe off all the brake fluid, dirt and debris from the brake master cylinder reserve tank.
- Remove existing cap.
- Install a new service part cap.
