2016 CX-3 vehicles with VINs lower than JM1 DK ****** 114947 (produced before September 07, 2015)

Sail garnish separation (one side or both sides).

This may be caused by insufficient adhesion causing enlarged clearance between the sail garnish and the front sash molding.

Remove the sail garnish(s). Refer to MS3 online or Workshop Manual (section 09-16).
Remove and clean any dirt from the adhesion surface of the sail garnish(s) and the front sash molding .
Cut a piece of 3M Automotive Acrylic Plus Attachment Tape 06397
Automotive 3M 6397 Hardware, One Size, Factory
Primary electrical insulation for all wire and cable splices rated up to 60 volts.
Harnessing of wires and cables.
