Recall Campaign 4721B
CONDITION OF CONCERN
On certain subject vehicles, the wheel and tire assembly may be equipped with a tire air valve having damage to the air valve sealing surface. If the affected tire air valve is installed, it is possible that an inflated tire may result in either a slow or sudden loss of air. A sudden air leak from the tire air valve may cause a loss of vehicle control while driving, increasing the risk of a crash.
A warning lamp and warning messages in the Multi-Information Display may notify the driver of a reduction in tire pressure if this defect occurs.
Causal factor:
Certain previously-installed and removed tire air valves might be mixed with new parts at the supplier due to improper isolation procedure. The previously-installed and removed tire air valve may have a damage on the sealing surface.
OUTLINE OF REPAIR
The tire air valves on all four wheel and tire assemblies will be replaced with new ones. Please refer to the Repair Procedure document on MGSS for further details.

VINCUSTOMER ADDRESS
Estimado Propietario de Mazda
:
