2017 Mazda6 Turn Signal Switch Does Not Cancel
Some customers may complain about a turn signal switch that does not cancel. This concern may have occurred after an accessory fog light installation by the port.
Repair Procedure
Note: This service alert does not apply to 2017 Mazda6 vehicles with Grand Touring trim.
- Verify customer concern.
- Is the vehicle equipped with fog lamps?
- Yes – Proceed to step 3.
- No – This service alert does not apply. Proceed with normal Workshop Manual diagnosis.
- Is the vehicle equipped with an Auto Light Sensor?
- Yes – Replace the turn signal switch with part number BALN-66-122
- No – Replace the turn signal switch with part number BALM-66-122
Note: Do not use the VIN to look up part number in the GEPC.
- Verify repair.
