Popping noise coming from the speaker(s) when operating the power window master switches at the driver’s door.

This is caused by insufficient noise supression in the Tuner Amp Unit (TAU).

To correct the problem, the internal noise supressor in the TAU has been changed.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

  1. Remove the TAU and replace with a modified one according to the instructions on MS3 online or the Workshop Manual (section 09-20).

NOTE: When replacing the tuner amp unit (TAU) with a new one for any reason, refer to SIRIUSXM REGISTRATION AFTER TUNER AND AMP UNIT (TAU) REPLACEMENT.
