If the immobilizer unit LC62-67-5G2* or DC69-67-5G2* needs to be replaced with a new one, these parts are no longer available.

New alternative service parts kits are now available, including alternative immobilizer unit BJ3D-67-5G2L or TC91-67-5G2J. They will require the following additional procedure to be performed in order to work on the vehicle.

  • Powertrain Control Module (PCM) has to be replaced with one in the kit.
  • The parts kit has to be ordered for the specific VIN due to the necessary PCM replacement.
  • Some vehicles need a wire connection change at the vehicle side connector for the immobilizer unit.

The service parts kit comes with a new immobilizer unit, PCM and related documents.
