MAZDA CONNECT REBOOTS CONSTANTLY
If you encounter a customer concern of a MAZDA CONNECT system constantly rebooting on 2015 or 2016 Mazda, perform the following steps:
- Disconnect the negative battery cable for 5 minutes.
- Reconnect the negative battery cable and recheck the system.
- If there is no change in the symptoms, go to next step.
- If the system now works properly, update it to the latest software version and return the vehicle to the customer.
- Replace the CMU.
- After replacing the CMU, ensure the MAZDA CONNECT system is updated to the latest version.
- Park the car in the sun for 1 hour with the windows closed.
- Test drive for 1-2 miles without opening the windows, but turn on the A/C if needed.
- If the replacement CMU does not reboot, return the vehicle to the customer.
- If the replacement CMU does reboot, contact Hotline for further instructions.
