2016 MX-5 (A/T) LOCK RELEASE BUTTON COVER INSTALLATION NOTE
On 2016 MX-5 vehicles with an automatic transmission, follow these steps to prevent breakage of the lock release button cover during installation.
- Install the lock release button cover (A) in the select lever knob.
- a. Set the hook (B) of the cover in the select lever knob.
- b. Push in on the lower edge of the cover in the direction of the arrow to snap the tab (C) into place.
