2016 CX-9 – DTC P064A STORED DUE TO MISLOGIC DETECTION
Be aware that DTC P064A does not illuminate the MIL or wrench light.
- If DTC P064A is the only code stored and surge and/or stall symptoms are present, follow the instructions on MS3 online for DTC P064A diagnosis.
- If DTC P064A is stored along with other DTC(s) and surge and/or stall symptoms are present, follow the instructions on MS3 online for DTC P064A diagnosis first.
- If DTC P064A is stored along with other DTC(s) and surge and/or stall symptoms are not present, ignore the DTC P064A and diagnose the other DTC(s).
NOTE: DO NOT replace the fuel pump or fuel pump control unit if there are no DTCs stored and only the MIL or wrench light are illuminated.
NOTE: Only when there are symptoms of surging and/or stalling should the fuel system be inspected.
