2004-2009 B-SERIES (M/T) – NOISE FROM CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER WHEN CLUTCH IS ENGAGED / DISENGAGED
2004-2009 B-Series equipped with manual transmission
Squeaking noise when engaging or disengaging the clutch.
This may be due to the interface between the clutch release cylinder and the clutch fingers.
The noise may be duplicated by cycling the clutch with the vehicle standing still and the engine off.
2005-2006 AND 2008 TRIBUTE – ENGINE STALLS ON ENGAGEMENT / STOPPING
2005-2006 and 2008 Tribute vehicles equipped with Automatic Transaxle (ATX) built from Aug. 1, 2004 to Feb. 15, 2007
Engine stall when coming to a stop or when engaging the ATX into drive or reverse.
This condition may be intermittent, and often occurs after extended drives.
2001-2010 B4000 – BUZZ NOISE – UPPER ENGINE
2010 B4000 (Canada only)
Buzz noise from the upper engine at about 1900 RPM under light load acceleration.
1998-2000 B2500 High Idle – Manual Transmission
All 1998-2000, B-2500 with manual transmission.
Some vehicles may exhibit a high idle.
2000-2006 MPV – FRONT BRAKE CLUNKING NOISE
2000-2006 MPV vehicles with VINs lower than JM3LW28**6*566231 ( produced before December 15, 2005)
When braking in a forward direction, then changing direction and braking in reverse, a clunk noise may be heard from the front brakes.
This condition is most noticeable when the vehicle is moving forward, then backwards a short distance while applying the brakes in both directions.
